Bosba PANH

My name is Bosba and I'm a composer!  I started music when I was 5, with classical guitar and by singing folk songs and traditional mohori songs. In 2011, I performed at Angkor Wat, Unesco World Heritage site. At age 15, I left Cambodia for an arts boarding school the United States, the Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, MA, to  study classical western music and voice  with a scholarship. I am now pursuing my Bachelors at the New England Conservatory of Music (Boston, class of 2019), one of the top music schools in North America. I currently study with Michael Gandolfi and Ken Schaphorst.

I am inspired by music from South-East Asia, jazz and late 19th to 20th century music ( pretty much anything from Debussy, Ravel, to Bernstein and Philip Glass). My music is very lyrical because I grew up as a singer and I blend music from Cambodia with influences from Western Music and jazz. My latest compositions can be found in the Music section of this blog or my soundcloud at
